The After School Art Class and some of their works

After School Art Class

The After School Art Class held every Tuesday has seen a 'small' invasion from various primary schools from around the town. These students are showing lots of ability and attitude and are really learning lots of new skills and techniques. Some have even won prizes with the work done at the class.

Pictured are, back row, Year 7s: Jenae Jerouch, Georgia Kelly and Year 8s: Imogene Griffin, Jessica Tilbrook and Samantha Coad. Front row is Lucinda Grieger (Grade 1), Amelia Lappegard (Grade 3), Liam Grieger (Grade 4), Phoebe Holmes (Grade 4) and Sophia Sticklan (Grade 5). Missing are Shontae and Kouper Minnecon.

These students have learned about mono-printing, aerial perspective in the landscape, mixed media collage and pen bird pictures and Persian carpet design to name a few.
